We are very pleased with the results of the Broda Chair for our recent Hospice Client. He had become paralyzed from a tumor in his spine. He had been unable to sit up in a regular chair or wheelchair, because he would loose his balance and topple forward due to loss of muscle control. With the help of a lift, we were able to get him out of bed and into the Broda Chair. By tilting it back, he no longer felt as though he was going to fall out of the chair. This allowed him to get out onto his porch and enjoy his yard the last days of his life.

Our facility loves Broda chairs.  Broda Chairs not only provide comfortable seating especially for our more frail debilitated patients but are an integral part of our fall management program.  The comfort of these chairs as well as the seat tilt feature makes these chairs an important tool in reducing resident falls.
